KURI MUYU
It is an interpretive center led by women from the Kichwa Añangu community, located at the Napo Cultural Center lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Here, the ‘mamakuna,’ women and mothers of the community, share ancestral knowledge about the life of Kichwa ancestors through talks, exhibitions, and cultural activities. Using the memories passed down from grandparents, they showcase how they lived, hunted, and fished before modern influences.
